Mai-Wel Groups 50th Anniversary Year - Commences May 2010

50 years is a significant achievement for any organization. For the Mai-Wel Group 2010 and 2011 will be a year of Celebration.
The Mai-Wel Group employs 110 people with a disability within our businesses; TimeSavers, PACE Setters and The Enterprise Centre. Our Specialist Employment Network, Hunter LabourForce Solutions places a minimum of 100 people with a disability in jobs with local employers each year.
A further 600 people are assisted by Mai-Wel across the Hunter in a range of services including supported accommodation, day programs, respite and outreach services.
Our youngest client is 15, our eldest 75 years. Some clients enter Mai-Wel Services as school leavers and some have remained for life.
In 2010 Mai-Wel turns 50 and we will celebrate the many achievements and the opportunities which have advanced the lives of people with a disability over so many years.
